When meeting with the client, our point of departure is naturally that
every project is unique. Every new project faces a specific
communication challenge that always offers unique opportunities. This
means that the end product is customised, but the basic model is the
same.
We call the model The Ten Steps.
|
1. Analysis and strategy. What is the
challenge, and what is the objective of the project? In order to
attain the objective, what is the optimal solution in terms of finance,
time schedule and other resource inputs?
2. Brief project description.
3. We appoint a project manager and a project team with the
appropriate expertise.
4. We set up a budget, which will be one of the most important
instruments during the course of the project.
5. We set up a time schedule. This forms a stable framework and will
be an important instrument to ensure that the different stages of the
project are completed on time.
6. We begin text production, with greatest readability and maximum
communication as objectives.
7. We produce illustrations in the form of pictures, tables and graphs.
The primary aim is to reinforce the message.
8. The graphic form creates an attractive package that stimulates
curiosity and the desire to read, increases readability and raises the
level of understanding. The aim of all this is to maximise the impact
of the information.
9. Quality assurance in the form of factual review and proofreading.
10. Under our supervision, the project moves on to technical
production with repro, printing and binding. |
